hey what's up everyone this is Todd
Hazleton from TechnoBuffalo sony
actually surprised us here at the show
when it announced the xperia z4 tablet
we weren't expecting new hardware from
it but it's the world's lightest and
thinnest 2k a tablet and it's crazy
light when I pick it up here it feels
like a kind of like a paper notebook or
something the 2k display that means
you're getting a 2560 by 1600 pixel
resolution on board you also have a
Snapdragon 810 processor the latest from
Qualcomm 32 gigs of storage which you
can expand with a microSD card slot up
top that's a 5-megapixel front-facing
camera on the back you have an 8.1
megapixel front-facing camera hand up
top you have the 3.5 millimeter
headphone jack power and volume controls
on the left hand side here nice metal
feel and on the right the micro USB
charger nothing on the bottom and of
course since it's a Playstation enable
tablet you can stream your PlayStation 4
games to the device which is really cool
so if you're sitting at home over your
Wi-Fi network you want to play games
with the PlayStation controller you can
do that other features is also water and
dust-resistant so you don't have to
worry about spilling on the tablet or
anything like that you also get a large
6,000 milliamp hour battery which is
pretty sweet you get you up to 17 hours
of video playback sony said which is
nice so let's see if we can check out a
demo video here let's just show you how
nice that 2k display is on a tablet it
looks like we're looking at a commercial
for the tablet but at least you can see
the video is pretty darn crispier on a
2k screen and actually I can hear the
audio to spice the tons of background
noise here on the show floor which is
pretty impressive so it sounds like it
has some pretty good speakers as well
otherwise you should expect Android
lollipop on this device with Sony's
coating on top so its own custom user
interface but it's not too deep here you
can see it pretty much looks pretty
simple regular interaction let's check
out that 8 8.1 megapixel camera real
quick
it's got autofocus which is a neat touch
so there we go snap the picture of the
DualShock 4 wireless controller there
which of course you can then use with
the PlayStation app to play video games
and stuff like that here as long as you
signed in which we already talked about
anyway that's a quick look here if the
Xperia z4 tablet it's expected to hit
the market in June so we have a bit of a
wait until we actually get one of these
in for a review but we're excited to
check it out this is todd haselton from
TechnoBuffalo
