what's up guys John rettinger from technobuffalo here I've got a very serious topic to discuss with you today so why don't you come a bit closer it too close that's just about right texting while driving and driving with a cell phone up to your ear with a headset or bluetooth or a wired headset is really a big problem I can't tell you how many times I've been driving and I've seen kids adults old people texting while driving drinking while driving and both soda and alcohol putting on their makeup while driving shaving while driving the only thing you should be doing while driving is driving because you're not only endangering yourself you're also endangering those around you this is a very serious topic that's kind of friend that was at a car accident due to driver neglect something that sort of hit me a little bit and can definitely hit you guys as well so on that note and to sort of perk things up a bit I have teamed up with AT&T Wireless to do a giveaway to promote don't texting while driving so what we're giving away is actually pretty cool I've got a jawbone icon headset to give away because this is what you should be wearing when you're talking on the phone in a car however we've got a pretty big audience here we're 80 thousand plus and growing so I didn't think that one headset was going to be enough to give away so I thought maybe two would be enough to give away but you know I figured you got anything new to grow it a little bit more and there are a lot of people I'd like to give stuff to so how about three jaw bone icon headsets that still wasn't enough folks at AT&T agreed and they sent for jawbone icon headsets those are the brand-new Jawbone's probably the top-of-the-line bluetooth headset on the market with really world-renowned ambient noise reduction comfort really probably the best method on the market but AT&T and I both agreed that for was enough to give a way to give back to the audience so we actually have five this is a lot like this you can leave a message to talk to them they do answer back you can go right to texting and driving go ahead and click that and you're going to want to take this pledge and what this pledge means is that you are saying that you will not text and drive or not going to danger people around you you know AT&T is the one sponsoring this you don't have to be an ett subscriber to do this it's just a good message at 18 feet I'll be to promote you're going to want to take the pledge and you're going to take the pledge and after you take the pledge you can either post on your wall or not post on your wall I'll go ahead and skip this total amount of pledges now is 1328 which is a pretty decent amount of people you're going to get that number so i am number 13 28 not bad so what I'm going to do right now is after I've got that 1328 is I'm going to go to TechnoBuffalo calm be a link in the sidebar to both the 18t page and the TechnoBuffalo page going to leave a comment that says whatever you want I took the pledge and your pledging number so we can check to make sure you guys really did this this isn't just a silly giveaways to give away that actually really matters and there's sort of something behind it that we're trying to use as an impetus to promote safe driving because who knows you might be out there texting on the phone and looking down I may be driving by and you might run a red light and smack right into me or someone else so very important that you guys do this so again all you have do is go to facebook.com slash AT&T click on their safe driving and not texting while driving tab take the pledge go to TechnoBuffalo calm be a link in the sidebar to the article right whatever comments you want and what pledge number you are and you are off and entered um and you know i'll use random.org to pick a random number and i'll just go down the order will start from one and ever number gets picked i will win this contest will go until tuesday marched 16th which is a week from today and i'll let it go until midnight on marshall 1159 on march 16 so you got all that time to go ahead and enter I'm gonna ask you guys just leave one comment per so we can sort of leave it as fair as possible you leave more than one you will be disqualified or least we're going to try this qualify it this is open to anyone in the world safe driving something that sort of affects everyone and everywhere if you're driving age then great if you're not up driving eaten yet then the pledge you can take when you finally get your driver's license we will ship
