hey guys what's going on this is
Jonathan with TLD bringing a little
quick news update in the midst of all
the back to the mat craziness Apple
pulled a sneaky move on us not a bad
thing but they actually silently
upgraded the new MacBook Pros now this
applies to both the 15 and the 17 inch
models previously the fastest
configuration we could pick up was a two
point six six figure its Intel Core i7
now we can bump up to a two point eight
it is gonna cost you an additional two
hundred dollars on top of the i7 premium
so you get a slightly faster clock speed
a little bit faster turbo boost I
believe the old two point six six goes
up to three point three and the newer
one goes all up to three point four so
it's nothing mind-blowing but I want to
let you guys know they did update these
now because this is such a low clock
speed I'd say what that $200 is probably
better to put that towards a solid-state
drive or extra memory that's where you
can actually feel it you get a slightly
faster speed but I don't think
real-world is maybe it's gonna save you
four seconds on a render I don't think
that's worth 200 bucks compared to
putting that towards an SSD or remember
that's where you're really gonna feel
the speed difference so that pretty much
wraps up the video I just want to give
you a little quick update and let you
guys know if your wonder about picking
up a MacBook Pro we shouldn't see
anything major until 2011 probably
march/april again like we did last year
or this year excuse me but like I said I
wanna keep you guys posted hope you guys
enjoyed this video make sure to check
out the latest video and as always feel
free to subscribe
you
