hey guys johnathan here with TLD got an unboxing to the apogee Jam this is a interface for your iPhone iPad obviously iPod Touch as well but it also doubles up as an interface so you can record guitar into your Mac so here we got the front of the box there's a guitar there's the jam there's your iPad on the back side of the box kind of gives you a brief overview all the features but I'm not gonna waste your time I'll get into that as I open it up so this doesn't look like I'm gonna need any knife or scissors but iPod should I'm tearing the box up when we did the first look on this a while back it was actually kind of hard to get a hold of these I know they're supposed to be in the Apple Store online like months ago it got delayed and I was able to find one so here it is not much going on with the packaging there's a jam so if that open this apply one of the most simple unboxing Chilvers see the jam a couple cables the owner's manual and probably the registration it's gonna laid out for you guys this looks like velcro for some reason I don't know maybe two velcro it to your desk so here we've got the iPhone iPod Touch iPad cable directly into that and then this is the USB cable that's gonna go into your computer so like I said dual function here's a jam itself we got the output gain control which is really nice you don't see that on a lot of the interfaces for the iPhone iPad etc and then the guitar input right here so that's been a quick unboxing first look we actually got a sound demo over on our gear gasm channel you can click that video right here other than that feel free to subscribe and I'll catch you guys later
