what's going on guys this is Jonathan with teal he's bringing you guys an update video I get a lot of questions regarding the new iMacs if they're gonna be upgraded any time soon as it's safe to buy so right now all you guys know to go ahead and hold off for the moment I've been reading a lot of stories with the Mac Pro's those are way long overdue but with that a couple weeks after that they're supposed to upgrade the IMAX which haven't been upgraded since October so it's really heading towards that schedule when we're supposed to see it update now they're also there's a lot of shortage with different models with the iMac so if you can hold off another month or two I'd say do that'll be worth your money as far as specs I don't think we're gonna see anything - mind blowing we'll see the quad core i7 we'll see the quad core i5s we might even see some dual core i5 and the lower end models and maybe even hopefully I would love to see some core i3 s in the base models instead of the Cork's who duo's cuz those are really kind of outdated and need to be replaced we're also looking to hopefully see USB 3.0 and a faster fire are either 1600 or 3200 which is also backwards compatible so I would love to see that and iMac and really that would kind of make it an all-in-one solution because you'll have a fast transfer interface with that I would love to see like a user interchangeable hard drive it is possible but it's not easy to access I don't think we'll see that for you guys looking for blu-ray it's still sorry for that we're not gonna see that anytime soon Steve Jobs which really isn't on the ball with that so there's rumors of am AMD coming to there instead of Intel so we might see AMD in the imax as opposed to Intel as far as the chipset goes so we'll hopefully we'll see a bump in graphics cards there's been rumors we might see some of the new Nvidia graphics cards way along with the ATI so for you guys doing rendering after-effects final cut that's a good news for you guys and with the addition of USB 3 hopefully we get that that'll help with scratch disk and external disks and things like that and actually the least likely rumor with this is a touch screen IMX there's been a lot of rumors on it and I do believe this is gonna happen I just don't know how soon it's gonna happen so I don't know if fall is the time personally I think we might have to wait till next year but you never know Apple might have a surprise for us so we'll have to wait and see so if I get any more information or as follow as far as Bax or anything like that goes I'll keep you guys posted but like I said I just want to let you guys know if you're thinking about picking one up at the moment go ahead and hold off for a little bit cuz you guys will be glad you did so hope you guys enjoyed this video and I'll catch you guys later update video I get don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter those links are in the description and make sure to check out the latest video you
