what's going on guys this is John Lanier
with Texas lunch and dinner bringing you
an in-depth comparison between the new
iPod Touch 4G and the iPhone 4 now while
there are a lot of similarities between
the two the iPod Touch does not have an
IPS display it is retina but it's not
IPs
we get a smaller battery life less ram
now we do get more storage on the iPod
Touch 64 gigs as opposed to 32 as the
max on the iPhone and while both sports
720p HD video recording the iPhone 4 has
a 5 megapixel camera whereas the iPod
Touch has less than 1 megapixels now
running Geekbench you guys can see they
have the exact same processor now the
iPhone 4 has twice the RAM we'll go and
see if that makes a difference as far as
the benchmarks go it looks like the
iPhone 4 on the left-hand side comes in
a little quicker slightly different as
far as a Geekbench just because the
processors are about the same and now
like I said they both are Retina display
with the iPhone 4 features an IPS
display so I'm running spider-man right
now this is a new game to take advantage
of the Retina display the iPhone 4 is on
the left hand side while the iPod Touch
4G is on the right they both look good
but the same brightness the iPhone
definitely pops out a little bit more it
definitely looks brighter there's a lot
more contrast and overall just looks a
little bit sharper and doesn't take
really anything away from the iPod Touch
4G it still looks amazing it for the
money I definitely say it's a nice buy
so I hope you guys enjoyed this review
go ahead and stay tuned for part 2 feel
free to follow me on Twitter so I'll let
you guys know when that is up other than
that I'll catch you guys later and as
always thank you for watching
