in the land of Hyrule that chosen weapon we've done a gaming setup for the ps4 and we've done a gaming setup for the Xbox 1s so now I thought it was about time we finally did one for the Nintendo switch which really affords us a bit of a more unique situation compared to the other two because while both Sony and Microsoft have their popular franchises none of them have quite hit the same level of popularity as what Nintendo brings to the market and the biggest one right now thanks to being a launch title for the switch is the Legend of Zelda now just up from the very top I got the heart it's not to play the part if it sounds awesome and what's really cool about this is there's just so much awesome stuff out there that celebrates the Legend of Zelda franchise that we had a lot more options with doing something more unique and interesting with the set up compared to the last two you know what the PlayStation 4 set up I'd say that was about 60 70 % function with a little bit of form the Xbox one s was the flip of that because we got that custom design shell for it but still need to make everything manageable this though the switch doesn't really require all that much in terms of cabling or accessories or extra stuff so we're able to focus pretty much entirely on form making not just a gaming setup but really almost a shrine dedicated to the Legend of Zelda now obviously there is a whole lot going on with this setup here so let's break it down piece by piece and look at all the stuff that makes it up starting with figures as soon as we decided on doing a Zelda theme switch setup I knew I wanted to have a ton of figures involved I've done it before with my other setups I had a little Nathan Drake with the ps4 I had one with the Xbox 1s but with Nintendo we get the added benefit of amiibos there are a ton of different amiibos especially resulted with even more on the way so it allowed me to pick and choose to my favorite ones to incorporate with this design now amiibo is are cool and all but I wanted something a little extra special involved in the setup so I grabbed a pair nindroids as well there are much more detailed figures that are poseable and have all kinds of different customization options and they've done quite a few different Legend of Zelda designs and I thought the perfect fit to this set up where I want to have both Link and Zelda shown off is a pair the design based on the Wind Waker series now at around all of us out we have a couple other little knickknacks I got a collector's edition guide that just looks beautiful on display our custom Zelda switch talked replica of the Ocarina of Time and the biggest and best piece of all a custom color wear switch designed with breath of the wild colors in mind that I'm actually going to be giving away and you can see a video on tomorrow now all these things individually are pretty cool but what really makes this set of special and ties everything together is the set design we head up a couple different home improvement and craft stores to grab a little stuff you see behind me to create this kind of ancient ruins feeling columns bordering each side of the TV vines covering the wall I've got some replica stuff like a Hylian Shield and I think what my favorite little things we did is put hugo's inside of these sconces so it actually acts like a torch also favorite moment while building up this whole thing is the fact that we bought some vines put them up looked at it went yeah that's really cool we have to buy like four times as many of these right now now for those of you worrying about the functional side where am I going to store controllers we're going to store any other accessories I want well in my opinion the switch is still ultimately a portable system so I just keep everything in a backpack stores all my joy columns portable batteries everything I need is in here so I've access to it when I'm on the go if I want to use it while I'm at the setup just grab out of the bag you know of all the setups we've done on this channel I have to say this one was by far the most fun one to do I've been a longtime fan of legend as little franchise when I was growing up and even till this day link to the past is still when my favorite games of all time sorry ocarina fans but link to the past is better and being able to incorporate that love into a set up something that was beyond just simply oh we need to make a cool-looking setup that involves a ps4 and Xbox one something that celebrates the series that I truly love just led to making something that was truly special
