protect you against ticks and to harmful diseases they transmit permethrin is a fabric insect repellent treatment with a chemical makeup similar to the organic compounds produced by chrysanthemum like flowers sawyer permethrin can be applied to clothing gear and other items it does not harm fabrics for finishes in the treatment is 100 percent odorless after drying once the insect repellent has
