based on the east coast of Australia in a little town called byron bay we've been selling wooden base products for the last four years so what if I told you you could make a phone case out of corn and wood well you can and that's what we want to do during our research we came across a material we could use it's made from non-gmo corn and the cornstarch is then made into a resin and then the resin will then become the shell or the outer part of the phone case the great thing about this is is corn is renewable and at the end of its life cycle it's a hundred percent compostable we've integrated that with some Australian hardwood Timbers for the feature on the back of the phone case as well as all the ideas which came from our customers was well so over the last few years we've talked to our customers encounter what what do you want and the same kind of things kept coming up they wanted a phone case which was slim or was durable it was protective it was Okinawan the great thing about having the wooden feature on the back is it's a tactile and it's earthy and it feels like it's alive if you to all the phone cases that have been sold for iphone 6 of 6 out of the last few years and we had the opportunity to replace it with our current one then you would literally save thousands and thousands of tons of plastic waste going into the oceans and into landfill so as a small business we're so excited because we love researching different materials and offering consumers a product which is less harmful for the planet but also stylish and beautiful we hope you like the project we
