welcome to my unboxing of Corsairs vengeance series of color-coordinated memory so yes the vengeance series memory with like the powder blue heat spreader exists for no reason other than to go with your motherboard that matches it because otherwise you can just get the Vengeance black one with the same spec and it would be the same modules inside with a different color heat spreader now for some people this does not have an inherent value but some people are not necessarily me so for an upcoming build that we are going to be doing with the Asus p8z 77 - VIII premium motherboard we figured well we had better have some color-coordinated memory to put in there so this particular kit is running at 1600 megahertz cl9 latencies so pretty pretty bog-standard as far as I go so has a limited lifetime warranty except where prohibited by law which is not in Canada so in Canada you have a lifetime warranty I'm gonna go ahead and show you guys what this will look like in a color-coordinated motherboard pretty beast basically this is the unboxing process I mean of note is the fact that this is not technically a dual channel kit but it actually doesn't really matter guys I mean it's one of those things where yes if I had to recommend I would say buy a kit but you know in a pinch we're just gonna go ahead and do it this way so that is what it will look like pretty cool I don't know let's look wants me to do but I don't know sure how this pretty they're slick wants to do is camera angles himself of course our memories you guys probably all know is pretty pretty well pretty well regarded compatible of core i3 i5 i7 s and I'm presuming what they mean is AMD not necessarily tied down just to the older phantom twos it's probably just an older package and I think that pretty much covers it thank you for checking out my unboxing of course there's vengeance series of color coordinated memory modules the blue one anyway and don't forget to subscribe - tech tips from unboxing and other computer videos
