so today I'm going to be unboxing the Intel Core i7 930 quad core processor this is the lip it's the new fastest cheapest core i7 on LGA 1366 so what that means is it's replacing the core i7 920 but at the same price and it's a little bit faster so as you can see from the specs here this is a 2.8 gigahertz chip it does have turbo boost it has a it makes a level 3 cache it has it's a 130 watt part and this is an OEM processor so my unboxing basically consists of taking this label off of the CPU and that was it ok I'm actually gonna unbox a reel to retail one after but you know I just thought this was kind of funny and I saw it when I was in the warehouse so can you meet that can you meet the the heat spreader so it says Intel Oh 8i 7 930 Intel Core i7 SLB KP is the stepping it's from Costa Rica 2.80 gigahertz 8 Meg 4.8 that is B hyper qpi thank you that is the qpi frequency and then there's a wait I guess that's some kind of year and then three zero zero three eight nine eight seven is the serial number on this particular CPU at the bottom of the CPU we will find one thousand three hundred and sixty six metal contact pads that is how you install it in your motherboard thank you for checking out my unboxing of the Intel Core i3 Core i7 930 om
