alright guys welcome to the be quiet
suite where we're mainly checking out
the pure power 9 like you do Squarespace
for sending us to CES 2016 this year
check out their link in the description
down below which is squarespace.com
slash Linus and use offer code Linus for
10% off the pure power 9 might not be
your biggest most crazy high end power
supply ever but they do have a little
bit of a stepping going on so they have
the pure power 9 the straight power 10
and the dark power 11 or dark power Pro
11 if you want to scale upwards from
there
the pure power 9 brings in some cool
things with it however I do really like
the aesthetics of the orange ring around
the fan I know the orange is kind of a
lattice tek-tips color but completely
regardless of that I still think it
looks super slick also they have all
black cables which is a first for be
quiet and I think it looks very sharp
alongside their flat peripheral cables
they're mostly modular with just a 24
pin an 8 pin EPS connector connected all
the time which is probably fine in this
category of power supply they go from
400 to 500 to 600 to 700 watts in power
and are fairly affordable generally
below $80 so these are actually going to
be pretty cheap which is actually nice
for a really great looking aesthetic
power supply those included cables are
probably fine because most builds will
be using those and I'm not expecting you
to custom sleeve all of your cables on
this tear of a power supply it has a
three year warranty a 120 millimeter fan
within that orange ring that I
previously mentioned and 80-plus Silver
certification one thing that I like as
well as if you decide to point that fan
with the cool aesthetic orange ring
around it downwards in your case to pull
air in from the outside instead of
pulling air out from the inside you get
a flat black top which might sound
boring at first but not having a label
and having a nice clean aesthetic in
your case especially if you don't have a
basement is actually pretty awesome in
my opinion another thing to note about
the silent bass 600 and 800 not the
power spy that we're just checking out
is they now come in cool funky colors
black silver red and orange and I think
it's pretty cool they don't just keep it
to like the outside it does show on the
outside on the front but it also shows
on the drive rails and on the rubber
grommets for cable management anyways
