here we go into the tech tips room I have had this system running prime95 actually for a full weekend and then some it's the end of the day Tuesday already and so I okay so for anyone who didn't watch the original video I'm just gonna go through really quickly what exactly we've got going on here this is a gigabyte g1 assassin motherboard with a 990 X Extreme Edition CPU we've got here 6 8 gig dims from Patriot so these are 1333 gamer series memory it's designed for the Intel 6 Series platform but we were able to get all 48 gigs of memory running on the x58 platform without any difficulty whatsoever we've got dual GTX 590 s on here and this is the moment of reckoning let's find out if she's stable at 1530 39.99 24 or whatever the timings are okay you may be a victim of software counterfeiting I'm not I just changed my hardware all the time here we go so it looks like our prime95 instances are still running this is a custom test so I'm running it custom I'm running it with 48 gigs in use and 12 threads so that I can maximize my memory usage I'm just going to show you guys here start task manager so you can see CPU best usage is 100% and memory usage is 48 gigs right there so we are just burning the heck out of it ok so let's go ahead and stop it and this system has been running for a grand total of 95 hours and 3 minutes this is what I would call a successful test this is a stable system so a big thanks to Patriot for making this little tech demo possible by sending us 48 gigs of their brand-new 8 gig dims and big kudos to gigabyte because we are using these stock shipping BIOS on the g1 assassin from back when it launched and it was already stable with RAM that was not going to be released for another you know 6 months so that's that's pretty cool - way to go to the gigabyte BIOS engineers thank you for checking out this video online in seconds don't forget to subscribe for more unboxings reviews and other computer videos
