hey guys its debut here from fumble comm and today I'm going to show you how to clear an app's data on an Android phone so the first thing I want to do is jump to your home screen and from there you're press Menu Settings and then you're going to hop into applications the application screen you're going to hit manage applications and you'll get a list of your apps so this is just the downloaded apps in this case I want to clear my browser data and by clearing the data you're actually resetting the app so all your settings all your bookmarks everything is going to be wiped clean to the way it was when you first got the phone all right so Internet you can see it's taken up 5.8 eight megabytes of space right now so I could clear the cache or clear data or do both so clearing the data will like it says right here deletes all the applications data permanently includes all files settings accounts databases as well and so on so you want to make sure when you're doing this you're completely fine with it being completely reset it deletes literally all your settings go ahead and hit OK and you can see now it's taking up zero bytes and that's it this is David from Volcom thank you for watching the video and don't forget to visit form Lafleur home for more cellphone news reviews and how to's
