hey guys david here from bumble calm and in this video i'm gonna show you how to get rid of the double text message notifications you get when you download a messaging app like Chomp SMS or go SMS from google play so as you can see at my top SMS app right here and also my stock messaging app right here and I'm gonna send myself a text message to show you what happens when you leave it the way it is after your download Trump so as you can see I actually got notified by the same message twice so I got the same message two times once from each app and obviously I can get annoying if you only want to use chop for example you don't need your stock messing up to nut value so the way you disable it is go ahead and go into messaging hit menu and then settings and from here scroll down to the bottom where it says notifications just uncheck that guy hit back hit home and now we'll test this so I'll go ahead and clear this guy out really quick and I'll send myself another message so set myself a message and let's see what happens there you go and as you can see there's only one message this time there isn't uh two of them so the duplicate our double text message notifications are gone and that's pretty much it this david bohm calm if you found this video helpful please hit the like button and subscribe and don't forget to visit bump up calm or cell phone news reviews and how to's thank you
