how's it going guys is Dave here from bumble calm and today I'm gonna show you how to set a speed dial on your Android smartphone so the first thing you're going to do is hop into your phone and from this main dollar screening or press menu and then go to speed dial settings and you can see it gives me an option to choose whatever number I want so I'll just go ahead and choose number 9 and now you can select a contact that you want to set I'll just do Alek screen and there you go I'm all done and I just hit home show you that it works at present hold nine and there you go calling them so really simple to do now you have another option as well if you don't want to do that traditional way and you can actually set a shortcut on your home screen so say for example I wanted to set a shortcut right over here so I present on the empty space on the home screen and that your phone will pop up either a box in the center or down below like this and you just go to shortcuts and I can do a direct dial a contacts and direct message so direct dial is saving a speed dial when you tap on the personal call them when you click contacts it'll open up the contact card and then direct message of course it opens up a text message so it's a great alternative to do to a regular speed dialing but that's pretty much it for this video this day from bumble calm thank you for watching the video and don't forget to visit fumble comm for more cellphone news reviews and how to's thank you
