How To Transfer Files To/From Computer And Android Phone

2012-04-04
hey guys david here from Volcom and in this video I'm going to show you how to transfer files to and from your Android phone from your computer so the first thing you need to do is make sure you connect your phone to your computer itself with the USB cable and once you've done that on the phone itself make sure you enable USB mass-storage if applicable but once you've done that double click on my computer and your phone our internal storage should show up right over here so does this double-click on it and open all your folders should show up on your computer off from your phone right here and once it does you can just drag and drop files you know from here onto your computer or onto computer or from your computer onto the phone itself so for example let's say I wanted to transfer over a song let's go to my music so I want to transfer from my computer to my phone I'm just going to drag this guy over to the internal storage folder and put it under music you want to copy it over to devices hit yes and that is it the song has not been added to my phone now let's say I wanted to picture from my phone onto my computer I'll just same thing let's say I wanted this picture I could just drag and drop it I was doing on my desktop and there you go you can now see I have the picture right on my computer's desktop and of course I could just put it under my pictures if I wanted to but that's pretty much the process for transferring any kind of file whether it's a picture a song a Word document I mean doesn't really matter that's how you do it alright that's it for me in this video thank you for watching it this day full of calm and don't forget to visit phone book at home for more cellphone news reviews and how to's thank you
