what's up guys david here from form of calm and this video we'll be taking a look at the US version of the samsung galaxy note 2 easily one of the best back devices of the year with that said let's go ahead and take a look at the device itself I'm going to be doing just a quick hardware overview in this video as this being shot at the Samsung event in New York City using YouTube's Pablo place to do but don't worry the folin review will be uploaded to the site soon alright so let's get right into it the first thing you notice on the galaxy note 2 is the gigantic 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display which isn't panned out by the way with its 1280 by 720 resolution at the bottom of the note 2 we have a physical home button and two capacitive touch buttons just like on the galaxy s3 one from menu and another foot back on the back of the device we have an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and then some samson or carrier specific branding and right below that branding you'll find the speaker grill and then of course the a span which is improved compared to the one on the original Samsung Galaxy Note mainly because it's bigger making it a little bit more comfortable to hold in the hand also it feels like the slot of the pen goes into is a little bit more stable 2 on the bottom of the note to you have a micro USB charging port and a microphone on the left side of device we have a volume rocker for volume up and down on the right side we have nothing but the power button to turn the screen on and off or to turn the device on and off and at the top we have our microphone and our headphone jack underneath the hood we have a 1.6 gigahertz aqui nos for quad processor capable 4G LTE 2 gigabytes Ram underneath the back cover we have a 30 100 million battery with NFC and also a microSD card slot when it comes to the software side of things the galaxy note 2 is running the latest version of Samson's feature packed and optimized for S Pen TouchWiz user interface over top of Android 4.1 point one jellybean alright so that's the review for the samsung galaxy note 2 if you found this video helpful please hit the like button and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already alright thank you for watching
