hey guys Michael Fisher with
pocketnow.com here at Aoife in Berlin
still at the Acer booth checking out the
Acer Iconia W 700 this is right next to
the Iconia the next to the W 510 we just
checked out this is a obviously a
professional-grade Windows 8 tablet
device and taking on a little hardware
tour here if that's alright this screen
this this panel up top here is an 11.6
inch full HD display it's running at a
resolution of 1920 by 1080 and supports
10-point multi-touch hop around to the
side here we've got a volume toggle
power button with LED headphone jack
there there's a putting a tab branding
hop around to the back camera taking a
step down in resolution of 5.0
megapixels on this unit here's the Acer
branding there doesn't look like there's
a flash on this one either
come around to the side and we've got
some ports this is a Thunderbolt port
HDMI full size USB which obviously amps
up the thickness of this device a little
bit power adapter once again the Dolby
home theater professionally tuned
branding coming out there on the bottom
left and right stereo speakers and the
windows button here and up top these big
honkin vents that help cool the Intel
Ivy Bridge you can get it in our core i3
or i-5 classification and the lock
switch over there in the hand definitely
a lot more substantial than the W 510 we
were handling before but just like the
five tenets can run the the desktop view
of Windows 8 here in addition to the
Start screen formerly known
as as Metro looks like storage options
here we're talking about 32 or 64 gig
the front-facing camera is a 1.3
megapixel unit Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
connectivity aluminum unibody case
feeling really good looks like fixed
storage options at 32 or 64 gigs but
feeling really good in the hand
generally a little on the thick side
obviously not meant for your average
consumer and while we don't have pricing
information on this unit it definitely
feels like it's going to be the more
expensive option in the lineup we're
gonna have a little bit more on this for
you going ahead if we can find some more
interesting things about it which I'm
sure there are once again this is
Michael that's Tony behind the camera
for pocketnow.com this is the Acer
Iconia W 700 from Aoife in Berlin thanks
for watching and stay tuned for more
