if you haven't noticed Aoife 2015 is all
about smart watches and Alcatel OneTouch
is getting in on the fun with its new go
watch from Berlin I'm Michael Fisher
with pocket now with a quick hands-on if
you followed Alcatel OneTouch as
freshman SmartWatch effort the go watch
will be familiar it brings essentially
the same hardware as the earlier device
but packaged in a sporty er a more
rugged casing it made to appeal more to
Millennials
according to Alcatel OneTouch the neat
built-in charging port in the band of
the older watch has been axed in favor
of a more conventional microSD port but
the sacrifice was made in the name of
customizability both the bands and the
watch face are now user replaceable so
you can make whatever look suits your
mood speaking of mood the go watch has
the same heart rate sensor as the
standard watch so it can tell whether
you're running or walking and how
quickly your heart is beating ask it for
your emotional pulse and the watch will
tell you to do something ridiculous and
then you can post that directly to
social media because Millennials I guess
anyway the go watch is rated ip67 for
water resistance and Alcatel OneTouch
says you can charge it from a dead pack
to a full cell in 30 minutes
specific pricing is TBD but äôt says
it may come in under 149 considering the
caliber of some of the other
smartwatches we've seen at this show
well it better we've got lots more from
Alcatel OneTouch and others here at
