long live CyanogenMod as the company has even decided to change its name a sous a sir and HTC do not seem to be having the greatest of years and what's going on with the pixel and Nexus devices with some recent issues I'm hi Mary Vera and this is the face of a guy that meets about a week of sleep after a lot of travel this is PocketNow daily the official news today are actually not good for those of you that are rockin on Google pixel or Nexus device and you've noticed your pixel device hanging just out of the blue in the case of your Nexus device on a boot loop or something like that that is actually not something that's just happening to you it's actually happening to a lot of users now Baron white it has not happened to any of our review units it apparently it even includes the Nexus 5x and 6p so stay tuned we will keep you posted as soon as we learn what's going on because obviously this has to do with software now let's move the spotlight over to Apple and Nokia Nokia has not brought its smartphones to the market yet but both companies are currently in a patent lawsuit or to a certain degrees some sort of a lawsuit between each other bear with me here those are that it seems that Nokia used some other companies to sue Apple a couple years ago that was kind of famous and eventually Apple ended up finding out a couple of days ago that it was Nokia behind these lawsuits so what that Apple do file a lawsuit back to some of these companies in to a certain degree Nokia and also pull all of what it was selling from with things within the Apple store so this is apparently going to get a little dramatic and it's gonna be interesting to see where it leads us Foxconn is the company that's going to be building products from okiya how much will the spotlight over to the companies that are not having a good time in mobile and includes a lot but probably the companies that did the worst or Acer a Susan HTC you can follow the link of the description for full details on how far these companies were from their goals but HTC in particular was planning to ship 18 million units in the year it kind of shipped 11 million and we still haven't even been able to confirm that so we will keep you posted it is sad mainly because of the efforts of HTC what we've seen from the shoes as well as with the spotlight back to Apple because of the company has continued to show that it's taking AI a little more seriously we've seen Siri grow to be able to interact with third-party applications but the company committed that it would tell people in documents over the coming months what it's been doing in artificial intelligence and one of the things that the company has shown in a document today is its progress in detecting imagery and the document actually goes back and forth and explaining both the great successes that the company has had and being able to detect what's in a photo and also the hurdles that it's facing from the difference between a real photo and anything that was simulated in Photoshop so you can read more in the description about what Apple is doing clearly we should be expecting more artificial intelligence next year and finally the most interesting and kind of disappointing news is they have to do with the death of CyanogenMod I mean the company pretty much killed itself a few days ago but now it's confirming that it's no longer going to even be called CyanogenMod now it's going to be called lineage OS and can somebody explain in the comments where did they come up with that name lineage OS so yeah no more support for Knightley's as of the end of the year we knew that but lineage OS it's still going to be a fork of Android but we do not know exactly how it's going to work it's going to be kind of weird but it leads me to the question of the day you know the biggest question that I ask people lately is do you even care about this do you care about the death of CyanogenMod do you care about the fact that lineage is coming deep care about Santa janmaat period because I will tell you this much as the operating systems have gotten better over the years I feel that at least people are rooting less and less but I could be wrong leave us a comment down below we would love to know your opinion friends you know the way it goes if you want to get the news earlier before the video was filmed but what's not working out our time and hit that subscribe button down below for more videos like this one you can also follow me on twitter i'm underscore to be better on instagram at hina be better please give this video a thumbs up if you liked what you saw I am highly Vanna thank you very much for watching we'll see you tomorrow
