hey everyone Daniel Webster here from
pocketnow.com and the HTC EVO on
Sprint's Network was a great 4G device
it was the very first the United States
and right now we have the HTC EVO shift
4G with the slide-out keyboard so let's
get to the unboxing our warm
okay so we'll just rip this packaging
open real quickly if I can let's see
there we go and it's absolutely
destroyed so we have this device here
and let's see it says experience 4G on
the side we have a little information on
the back about the device and it shows
the device it looks almost like a
blueish hue to it with some chrome
accents okay so open up the box it opens
from the bottom so we'll just slide it
out and we have the device right here
and a little bit of plastic it's a
somewhat thicker than I thought it would
be so we'll just set that to the side
let's look in the rest of the box here
we have manual rather thick with all of
our instructions and a recycling packet
if you want to recycle another phone
it's always a good idea instead of
throwing it in the landfill and on the
bottom let's see we have a wall charger
with a USB port which also syncs with
your micro USB cable here into the wall
no headphones no screen protector of
course it is a glass screen so you
probably wouldn't need it so let's rip
this plastic off and it already has the
battery installed so I'm gonna have to
open it up and take out the battery
first there we go okay so it says sprint
on the front and it's kind of a weird
keyboard it's not a spring-assisted
which is a little different for most
smartphones these days so we just take
some of this plastic off has a 5
megapixel camera we'll go through all
that and the rest of the hardware tour
and let me just pop off the battery
cover here and check out the size of the
battery and it is a 1500 milliamp hour
battery so to compare the ebo shift to
some other devices we have the Nexus One
right here
the Evo shift is quite a bit thicker of
course does have that keyboard the
samsung focus samsung focus a little bit
bigger the iPhone 4 quite a bit thicker
than the iPhone 4 so stay tuned for the
hardware tour and software tours coming
up next and if you like our videos make
sure you give us a thumbs up and also
leaves comms down below thanks for
watching
