greetings all this is deke Adams of
pocketnow.com and today we're taking a
look at the HTC Vivid from AT&T
specifically the video functionality of
that and as you can see we're here on
the lake and looking out over the water
and it actually looks pretty decent I
mean scan up in the sky is not really
any clouds up here be a little difficult
to see any transition there but you can
see the transition from the sky down to
the darker areas a little a little slow
and then as we move across the landscape
here a little bit of artifacts and
tearing that happens there I really the
color looks pretty good and the audio is
pretty decent it does get a little
choppy if things get loud though and if
we kind of pan here can see that the
lighting does dynamically change pretty
quickly one functionality that i
did--like here as we line up with
something that's close by and i see the
tree is dark right now and if I tap on
it then it automatically changes the
white balance and the focus point to the
tree there and then puts everything else
in perspective with the bokeh which is
actually kind of nice a little hard to
tell with this particular shop and then
if I move over this side I can it
automatically adjusts for the background
over there and if I tap on the tree
again you can see how it's changing the
focus and actually adjusting the
lighting for the tree versus a little
blown out on the side but you can tell
how that changes back and forth I tap on
the water over there anyway this is the

thanks for watching
