Windows 10 is hitting more screen sizes
as it rolls out to more devices and
Alcatel One Touch is one of the first to
showcase the platforms mobile flavor on
a tablet I'm Michael Fisher with
PocketNow and this is the pixi 3/8 with
Windows 10 mobile yeah that brand name
is a mouthful but the tablet it
represents is pretty straightforward
we're looking at an 8 inch tablet of
course powered by the same silicon as a
oaties Fierce XL Windows Phone namely a
Snapdragon 210 here the ram takes a step
down to one gig though with just eight
gigs of internal storage though it is
expandable to 32 gigs via microSD the
IPS displays resolution is 1280 by 800
the camera tops out at 5 megapixels on
the backside and the battery comes in at
a little over 4,000 milliamp hours so
obviously this is a value play a tablet
made for the same kind of budget
conscious buyer who might spring for the
company's Android powered pick c-38
announced last spring the thinking here
goes that Microsoft users will prefer
the familiar interface even in the
mobile trim an argument we've heard
before in the windows world how it works
out remains to be seen but with LTE
connectivity and GPS onboard as well as
a variety of accent cases and a price
tag in the sub $200 range the äôt
picks e38 with Windows Mobile certainly
has some things going for it if you're a
fan of the live tile or long brand names
for specific release timing pricing and
more check out our news post at

2016 in Las Vegas until next time this
been michael fisher with high auto
Houston behind the camera thanks for
watching we'll see you next time
