hey guys it's brandon minimun from pocket now and this is somewhat of a random video but I think you'll find it interesting especially if you have a sony ericsson xperia x1 now if you have this device you may have wondered along the lines how does the device know that the keyboard has come out so that the screen will rotate is it something mechanical is there some sort of switch well I actually found out by accident the other day and let me show you that so here we've kind of changed scenes a little bit and right now I'm right next to a speaker the other day i placed my sony ericsson xperia x1 on the speaker and the screen turned on and it rotated just like you saw there almost as if i had opened the keyboard like so why did this happen well quite simply there's a large magnet inside of the speaker as there is an any speaker and the mechanism responsible for rotating the display on the x1 as its as it happens when you open up the keyboard is magnetic quite simple right so if you have an X 1 that is how it works that's it for now
