what a difference a year makes the v10 was a bold offering targeted at multimedia playback in content creation the v20 Eanes to improve upon that reputation addressing some of the issues we had with last year's phablet and incorporating the best features of the LG g5 now starting with aesthetics this year's V more closely resembles the g5 than it does the v10 accents like the steel rails are gone but thankfully we don't lose the milspec drop in shock resistance rating the forehead and chin taper away from the front face so at first glance you wouldn't necessarily think that these two phones were related the top ticker display helps with design continuity but the v20 is capable with one selfie camera what the v10 required two separate cameras to accomplish while I've been a big fan of grippy back plates and the V 20 moves us to a true metal back LG's designed for removing the back is far more elegant than ripping the battery cover off of the v10 the V 20 reminds us of some classic Android experiments like the galaxy s captivate in the United States and of course the tech upgrades are what V series fans are most excited about a more powerful and more efficient welcome chipset dual rear cameras paired with one of the best photo and video apps ever created by a phone manufacturer improved microphones and audio processing and a slightly larger battery to power the whole affair many were worried that LG would dilute what made the v10 so special maybe look to add modular pieces that doesn't seem to be the case in our early handling of the phone this device is not a soft around the edges all rounder phone LG is aiming for a targeted content creation monster and a master multimedia from our early impressions we think they might be on the right track as always thanks so much for watching be sure to subscribe to this channel for our full coverage of the LG v 20 and help us out with some sharing on your favorite social networks for PocketNow i'm juan carlos magno some gadget guy on twitter and instagram and i will catch you all on the next video
