the LG watch urbane is one of the highest and Android wear devices you can buy today and it just got a little bit luck sir i'm michael fisher with pocket now here at Aoife 2015 in berlin and this is a quick hands-on of the LG watch urbane luxe if you know the LG watch urbane then you know the lux it's the same hardware from the pronounced lugs and crown to the big OLED display what's different here is the finish the lux edition is plated in 23-karat gold yellower and decidedly more flashy than the bronze flavor of the standard urbane LG says it's harder than the 24 karat gold used in jewelry and heavier than the 18 karat gold used in traditional luxury watches it also comes with a handcrafted alligator leather band fitted with a Cartier type deployment clasp so the fancy doesn't stop at the watch case itself on my fairly small wrist it feels quite solid but then again so does the standard LG watch urbane and underneath all the glitz it's your typical Android wear SmartWatch obviously this isn't a timepiece for just anyone and the price and positioning reflect that the watch urbane luxe will be limited to 500 units each individually numbered if you want to be one of the 500 owners the luxe will be available for pre-orders that reads jewelers in the United States later this month the price approximately $1,200 be sure to check out our full review of the standard LG watch urbane here on YouTube and follow us at pocketnow.com for all the developments coming out of Eva 2015 til next time this has been michael fisher from berlin thanks for watching and stay tuned for more
