hey guys this is Adam lien with Pacquiao comm one of the things I was hoping for in Windows Phone 7 was a really good Windows Live Messenger app fortunately we got this other one from some third party and the first version was really not so great at all it's been updated recently and so let's check it out right here so this is messenger by Iowa and the first version didn't work in the background it was really buggy and crashy so here we have an updated version 1.2 let me see a different background here and we can scroll and sometimes it shows pictures so that's good I guess I wish it showed them all time and we have conversations status update in the settings you've got the usual suspects but here we go background notifications so now it's got pushed notifications so I don't have to be in this to get a message which is great I think it's back out a little so say I am back on the start page and I send a message there we go we got a notification and so tapping it will relaunch the program since it's not actually running the background and then we can see the message so that's really nice that we have background instant messaging now unfortunately this messenger does not do multiple sign-on points of presence so you know if you sign on it'll log you off of all the other devices that you've been signed on to and there's not much else here you're not emoticons you can add people to the conversation you can't send pictures can't send video message you can't watch routing messages there's lots of stuff still missing but at least it works in the background oh we also don't have live tiles so this is just a static tile you know you know game II notifications of how many messages are so still a lot of work but at least you got notifications that's it for that
