third time's a charm right one plus is growing up delivering their third flagship phone while dumping the frustrating invite system used to order their phones in the past will this device satisfy your desire for a premium handset you'll get the answer to that question and more in 60 seconds or less let's start with what's not hot this display is not the one plus three strong suit moving to an AMOLED panel produces great color and contrast but the screen is a step back from the oneplus 2 in terms of brightness and clarity also the camera is solid for stills but video output is disappointing compression artifacts abound the OIS does little to tame handshake and noise reduction severely degrade your audio so what's hot just about everything else we get top-notch performance thanks to the Qualcomm 820 we have a stinking fast fingerprint sensor on tap USB type-c helps future proof your cable buying investments and if seen never should have left but we're happy to see it return battery life is comparable to more expensive phones and though the charging standard is proprietary it does top off the battery really quickly and the audio 1 plus soft bit to include a nice deck and amp combo which falls just behind some of our favorite phones and James devices like the Galaxy s7 and Xperia axe it's hard to deny that the one plus three delivers a substantial bang for buck and while we're not talking about killing flagships anymore what few compromises you need to make are perfectly reasonable considering the price whoa I was flying there for 11 more minutes on the one plus three and the most in depth camera examination available online check out our full review and real camera review videos on this channel as always thanks so much for watching be sure to subscribe for more videos like these and be on the lookout for our future pocketnow challenge series where we'll test real-world usage by pitting PocketNow editors against each other for pocket now i'm juan carlos bag now some gadget guy on twitter and instagram and i will catch you all on the next video
