when you get a SmartWatch that can
function without a smartphone you need
an accessory that can talk to the
SmartWatch right that's what Samsung
thinks and it's actually a pretty good
idea it's Michael Fisher with pocket now
from Aoife 2014 let's take a quick look
at the Samsung gear circle here at Aoife
it's being positioned alongside the gear
s as a companion device of sorts and
while we weren't able to try on the
circle we were able to check out its
strong magnetic latching system which
keeps the earbuds bonded together so you
can wear it around your neck like well
like a circle and open or close the
whole thing is very space-age in design
it pairs to your gear s via bluetooth
and serves as your voice interface for
the watch so you're not forced to bring
your wrist to your mouth every time you
need to interact with the gear detaching
the earpieces from one another will
automatically answer inbound calls and
reattaching them around your neck will
pause music if you're streaming media to
the headset its Center module will even
vibrate with inbound notifications
though this is probably more useful when
paired to a phone than the watch Samsung
quoted battery life of two days to us on
the hundred 80 million power battery
when paired via the gear app to a
Samsung smart phone and yes it's sweat
resistant so don't use its fragility as
an excuse to slack off we've taken a
closer look at a lot of other Samsung
gear here in Berlin so check it out on
our YouTube channel and follow us on
social media so you don't miss anything
from Eva 2014 from Berlin this has been
michael fisher with taylor martin behind
the camera thanks for watching and stay
tuned for much more
