Google already working on significant improvements to imaging on third-party apps for the Android 8.1 finally a company figures out new material for more efficient batteries and Andy Rubin seems to leave essential over some accusations I'm Jaime Rivera and definitely bloopers are going to be the thing as I record here it just comes with the territory this is PocketNow daily the official news today begin with Dale's because Cyber Monday became cyber week on Best Buy the company is now offering a $100 gift card to any samsung gear SmartWatch being sold and these already have a significant discount I would definitely consider any of them other interesting news that are not yet official have to do with the Exxon eight that we're still waiting for if you remember the Exxon M was just a different product from the Exxon lineup we should still expect a refresh to the company's flagship and the news are right now that the excellence of it is no longer being sold in the United States so it only makes sense that we get an axon eight we just don't know exactly when now let's talk about Andy Rubin father of Android danger and a ton of companies that have really shaped the mobile industry he just found it essential I really like the essential phone even though I know our review is not yet alive it's for reasons that I'll explain whenever the review goes live but the most important part is that Andy has just taken a leave of absence from essential and according to the argument apparently there are some accusations I'm some sort of misconduct back at Google which has nothing to do with essential but yeah he took a leave of absence while the investigation is going on that's I don't know what to say about it we'll see what happens to essential going forward as the launch of the essential pH one didn't really go so well now it's all about Google for those of you that are complaining that your photos and snaps look terrible because you're using an Android phone apparently Google wants to address it with the whole pixel core thing with Android 8.1 we won't just get better hdr+ with the pixel but apparently third-party applications will be able to use the service the only problem is that apparently only the pixel has that so oh well you'll have to own a pixel if you don't want to be using a potato phone call photo four snaps and finally the very hot news today have to do with something that we've been waiting for for probably a decade it's been pretty much a decade that we've been using lithium-ion batteries on smartphones probably a little more before that it was nickel-cadmium on cell phones etc etc and we've been waiting for a new material because batteries haven't really gotten better they just get larger in order to be able to be more powerful and provide better battery life processors have gotten better at efficiency etc I know but the news are that Samsung is already working on new types of batteries based on graphene and apparently we've got tons of efficiency from being able to charge in 15 minutes to providing 40 percent more energy output that is crazy apparently it's even cheaper to build them it takes less of an effort to be able to build them which is great we just don't know exactly when we're getting this technology but it leads me to the question today number one what phone do you use and number two are you happy with the battery life that you're getting in my case I'm currently juggling between an iPhone 10 in a Google pixel 2 XL the iPhone 10 not so good the pixel 2 XL is amazing leave us a comment down below we'd love to know your opinion with imaging and third-party apps with Android 8.1 now yeah it's a $100 giftcard and considering the discounts at these pro uncial family using your current google pixel and your photos look like potatoes potato phones friends again if you want to get the news earlier follow us I'm out comment suscribe to our channel by hitting this button up here you're gonna watch yesterday's parking out daily up you're in our review of the 1 + 5 t down here you'll follow me on twitter hang out there's quarterly that aren't into the ground behind every meta please give this video a thumbs up if you like what you saw I am hi Metairie but I think so much for watching we'll see you tomorrow
