hey guys it's joe from pocketnow.com on
location today to show you the
difference in speeds between the sprint
epic 4g data speeds and the nexus 1 3g /
t-mobile let's go look okay so let's
start the test now I've got the data
reporting in the same units of measure
kilobits per second and I'm connected on
the left to Sprint's 4G network with two
out of three bars over on their 4g
status indicator on the right the
t-mobile nexus one on their HSPA network
using the Korean radio which actually
has resulted in a little bit better
speeds at least in my experience now
you'll notice i'm getting about four and
a half megabits per second download
speed a little over one megabit up on
the sprint side but their latency is a
little bit high at 306 milliseconds on
the tmobile side it looks like it's hung
a little bit half a megabit down around
300 kilobits up looks like but their
latency is usually a little bit better
in this case about half that of sprint
now of course you'll want to run these
tests through several times and in fact
earlier today I was able to pull about
one megabit per second down on the
tmobile side which is a bit better but
you could see on the sprint side 4G
really does make a big difference so
there you have it for pocket now I'm Joe
Levi go ahead and give this video a
thumbs up if you like these kind of
tests if you haven't subscribed to our
channel you can go ahead and do so now
and check out all of our epic 4g
coverage over at pocketnow.com
