hey guys it's brandon minimun from pocket now and in this video I'm going to show you an application that will allow you to view youtube videos in one application on your windows mobile touchscreen device now the YouTube application thing was made popular by the iphone but it's been brought to the HTC touch diamond and touch pro through a really well done application that puts all of YouTube's videos right your fingertips it shows them at full screen glory it allows for flick scrolling searching favorites all that sort of thing it's a really well-done application this has actually been extracted over XD developers but it doesn't work on any other device yet we've tried it on you know the HTC touch and the AT&T tilt and it's just not ready yet but there is an application that's out there and it's free that does exactly well in essence what the application I just showed you can do so let me show you that here I've got a standard HTC touch on the verizon network and I'm going to close this message now this application i'm about to show you came from the pocket pc geeks forum i'm going to post a link on pocket now calm so you can get to that so i'm going to go start number to open the application so i can show it to you okay i'm going to hide the keyboard in a second but i just want to search for a video so that the keyboard goes away and i can show you the rest of the button so i'm going to type i'm going to type family guy and then i'm going to hide the keyboard we can see there's some buttons along the bottom now to search you press the YouTube icon there and after searching for family guy we get a list of matches here and we see a thumbnail of each video just as you would on youtube and to select a video you just tap on it you'll get information about it such as the rating and a description and to play the video you just select the play button button the bottom left corner there and we'll wait a second for to buffer and it's playing and on the bottom we have typical play control so we can increase the volume here we can pause it if we want to go full screen we can tap on the video and full screen glory and pretty good quality too tapping on this video again will bring us down to the smaller size and to stop it of course we click the stop button and we can go back to the searching screen if we want to view another video or if we want to search for something else on youtube so a pretty pretty basic application but it really does a great job at searching YouTube and kind of bringing that YouTube experience to non HTC touch diamond touch pro devices and that's about it for the YouTube application that will work on any windows mobile touchscreen device I'll post the link on pocketnow.com again it comes from the pocket pc geeks forum and it's a free application really worth the download that's it for now
