iOS 10 is just around the corner there will be a public beta in July which you can access by going to beta apple com but what features are actually new in this year's release of iOS well here are five awesome features in no particular order 5 apple maps Apple maps is no longer terrible the navigation is simple yet feature-packed you can now assume in and out which should have been there from the beginning but it's nice that we at least get it while navigating you can also press a button to see nearby places to fill up gas eat or get a coffee it's just looking and working more like Google Maps now which is a good thing widgets when you swipe left from your home screen there will be a lot of widgets just like the Google now launcher on Android you can of course edit these and add or remove others there's also third party supports so that different apps can use the widgets as well this is going to be great photos the photos app in iOS 10 now have this tab called memories where the phone basically sticks together videos based on your photo and video library and you can then set the mood to be sad or happy you're fast or slow it's extremely basic but I suppose that's what people want isn't I message the messaging app in iOS has now gotten a huge update with lots of emojis big text and huge backgrounds number one deleting sock iOS apps you heard that right you can now delete most of the stock iOS apps just like you would with any other app that's how do you get them back well the App Store and that makes five there's of course a bunch of other new features and updates in iOS 10 like home kit Siri app store phone and more so make sure to test it all out yourself when the public beta launches in July thanks for watching make sure to smack that like button and I'll see you guys in the next one peace
