yo what's up guys Toby you're back with
another video today we are going to be
taking a look at the Bose Soundlink mini
this is a small bluetooth speaker that
fits in the palm of your hand it retails
for 199 US Dollars and comes in two
different colors pearl is the one that I
have here but it's really just silver
and carbon which is really just black
and in the box you get the speaker
itself a charging dock with its cable
and that speaking of the box the
unboxing experience was probably the
coolest I've seen yet in terms of
charging there's a dock that you just
connect to the wall and then you place
the actual speaker on that dock for it
to charge and the speaker's design looks
amazing it's made out of metal which
feels great in the hand and up top you
have got your control and those are the
power button volume down a
multi-function button volume up and a
blue to the button if you would like to
pair the speaker with another device on
the side there is a micro USB charging
port if you happen to want to use one of
those instead of the charging dock and
it's also an aux port for those
old-school devices the speaker has
rubber feet so it doesn't vibrate the
table or surface diets on so yeah the
design is pretty and simple as you can
see that the speaker is not located on
both sides though so listening in groups
might not be optimal the speaker does
not have NFC so pairing is not super
fast but normal bluetooth pairing works
just fine
- what about the actual sound quality
well I gotta tell you I have never heard
this volume or sound quality from such a
small speaker I mean yeah there are
better sounding wireless speakers but
those are huge compared to this the
sound that this speaker produces is just
so rich and full the base is nice and
punchy and the more higher tones they
sound great too and the good stuff does
not stop there the battery lives it's
just phenom
I had the speaker playing full volume
music for four hours yesterday and it
only dropped to 70% which is just
phenomenal so as a conclusion the Bose
Soundlink mini may cost a lot of money
but for those $200 you get a small
wireless speaker with an amazing build
quality great sound and volume amazing
battery life and not only that you also
get a charging dock instead of a normal
cable but that's not to say that it
doesn't have any shortcomings because
well it does and one of them is the lack
of NFC and also kind of the price $200
is a lot of money but if you happen to
really need a good quality high volume
small speaker this is the choice so with
that said thank you for watching leave a
like if you enjoyed the video and I'll
see you guys in the next one peace
