let's face it waking up sucks it shouldn't have to be a struggle but for most of us getting out of bed is the hardest part of the day we end up hitting the snooze button over and over again leaving comfort of our beds at the last minute this makes us late and starts the day in the worst possible way we feel better at the weekend because we were woken naturally by the Sun it gradually lights your room so your body wakes up the way humans are designed to what if you could wake up like this every day hi Kickstarter I'm Pete the last two years our team has been developing our next product rise a smart wake up light that starts your day right so what is rose rise is a smart alarm clock that gradually lights your room before your alarm goes off the like gently tells your body it's time to wake up so you don't end up hitting the snooze button over and over you wake up feeling refreshed and get more time to spend your morning the wake you want to we're all different yet most of us wake up to the same annoying alarm tone rise letting you choose includes a high quality radio or if you prefer your own music be integrates with Spotify we thought carefully about the design of rise as an amazing oled screen which means you can see it from any angle and it automatically dimmers at night so it won't keep you up our companion app is the best way to set alarms it gives you complete control over everything your eyes can do we've all missed that crucial early morning meeting by forgetting to set them laughs so our app will remind you of your upcoming calendar events rise also has to fast hide USB ports so you can charge your devices overnight it's important the right sounds good as well as looking good Rhys is a great Bluetooth speaker with a big sound in a small phone we want rise to replace your bedside lamp so it automatically adjusts the color of its light throughout the day in the evening the light is warm you're making a sunset the warm light acts as a trigger for your body to go to sleep in the morning cool totally the opposite but giving you the energy you need to start the day we've worked with a renowned lighting designer to help us create something elegant for your bedroom so my name is Moritz mahamaya I'm a designer based in London the speciality of my project is that were we bring together electronics and creativity in projects and so a lot of our projects are based on research and sort of embedded systems development but then we bring like an artistic factor to these and we merged into worlds and our projects so when we started thinking about the design of the rise light we were thinking about sort of the two most important functions it combines sound and light we were looking in nature and one of the things that came to mind were crystals because crystals you do associate them with silence but also with light because they break lights and so I'm like what crystal formations have this beautiful aesthetics you know the way that they form in nature and the aesthetic of this product is inspired by rock crystals we've really iterated on rising design many times over the last three years we have a final hardware prototype our software's going through user testing and the app is ready to be released we've received lots of feedback which is currently being integrated to make the rise experience even better bring your hardware projects light isn't easy the tooling and manufacturing costs mean that we need your help to make Rhys a reality we can't wait to share with you just how much better Rhys makes your morning I get up is belly outside I don't always would snores which she's the lead in us love is all will ever trust yeah through the wastelands through the highways so my shadow through the sunrays and we'll go hi my name is Rebecca and I'm a lactation consultant today I'm going to be sharing my new paper product called the lovely lactation massage chair which is literally a lifesaver if you're breastfeeding her pumping it's easy no bolt has multiple vibration modes there's a hundred percent waterproof which means you could use it in the shower what I love about this product is its unique shape it has three different sides which helps you solve a bunch of different recipe ting problems the smooth back side can be used to help soften the breast and stimulate letdown the rounded edge can be used to dig into plug ducts and help break them up and the sides can be used to help move fluid and express milk whether you're in the beginning middle or end of your breastfeeding journey this is a wonderful tool to have on hand
