them some love so let's gonna start the show my name is Tim and I was the YouTube channel nerd bench I used to record my voice overs of the rode podcaster but recently switched to the Shuar mb5 one it can record to my Windows PCs to my iPhone or to my Mac my videos come to life on a shuttle X h97 V with an i5 processor and 16 gigs of ram it's not a news hardware you could build into this bare bone but I used older tech because it's running as a hackintosh my projects are made with Final Cut X as a monitor I'm using a 23 point 8 inch HP display on the other side of the room desmos studio featuring an Ikea kitchen table with a light wooden plate on top the background is realized with paper light is provided by two 6500k softboxes my slides are done with the add leckrone slider plus pro and the action model my Manfrotto MTO 5 5x pro free is too weak for the edelkrone slider but does well with my Panasonic gh4 50:12 245f 2.8 lenses yes I really like photo gadgets thank you for your time hey guys I'm saga from tech works and this is where I shoot and edit all the videos for my channel at the center of the desk I have a 24 inch 1080p Dell monitor with very thin bezels it is hooked up to an early 2015 13 inch retina MacBook Pro which is my main editing machine for the peripherals I have the latest Apple magic keyboard and the Logitech MX master mouse which is sitting on a SteelSeries mouse pad recently I picked up this Bose Soundlink mini tube which sounds amazing for its size and I use audio technica m50x headphones when I edit my videos when not in use they rest on this brainwaves desk hangar I also have some artwork hanging above masata a floor lamp with a smart LED bulb on the right side a few DIY lights hanging on the left side and a LED strip behind my table all of this adds a bit of personality to my setup a very special thanks to Ed for having me in this video and hopefully I'll see some of you guys over on my channel take care what's up guys Steve Nichols of mark here and here is my current setup i've tried to optimize the room for space and comfort singh i spend most of my time in here creating videos for my channel my current workhorse is this mid 2011 27-inch imac which is sitting above the grove maid monitor stand across my desk I've got some more growth made accessories including their leather mousepad and keyboard holder on either side of the iMac I've got the bose companion 2 speakers which have a great sound quality and amazing volume all at a low price point for when i need to edit on the move I've got my 2015 MacBook Pro Retina which comes on with me everywhere as well as my microphone of choice the road nc USB in the corner i've got a 40 inch Finlux LED TV which has the dual purpose of acting as a secondary monitor and it's also hooked up to my PlayStation 4 which is hidden behind it for when I need some downtime well guys that's my time almost up so I'd like to thank ed for featuring me on here and if you'd curved monitors mounted on the wall with a video secure articulating wall mount cables are managed behind and below the desk which is custom from ikea it's a linman top and Alexa drawers the LED lights are red when the markets down on the day along with the bullhorns and green when it's out the mike is an electro voice re 20 mixer allen heath ZD 10 FX in a preamp which is a dbx 286s my second workstations a stand-up desk from Ikea the Becket frame with an iMac late 2015 5 K Ratna at 4 gigahertz i7 backing it up is 2 4 terabyte let's see also the late 2013 MacBook Pro I also have a green screen I use for YouTube videos and 5 generate LED lights and for YouTube vlogging a phantom DJI 4 thanks guys my name is Zack I run the YouTube channel jerry-rigged everything let's jump into my YouTube video editing setup I prefer productivity over beauty when it comes to computer rigs I built this large computer desk myself by in laying stone into a solid wood door I have two JBL 308 studio monitors on either side of my for midst match computer screens I have a 4k monitor on the far left for viewing my videos in full quality my computer is a beast with the i7 5 960 x8 core processor 32 gigabytes of RAM and a gtx 980ti graphics card i use the corsair k70 aluminum keyboard with Cherry MX browns the Samsung meteor mic is my go-to for voice overs it is actually the same one you're listening to right now I currently use a GH 4 to film all of my cell phone durability and repair videos it can now put directly to my fork a computer monitor so I can see in real time what I am
