hey this is Ross with the verge and we heard checking out the Acer Aspire s5 this is a 13.3 inch very thin and very light Windows 7 machine it's just under three pounds and measures fifteen millimeters at its thinnest at its thickest point excuse me that's actually thinner than the MacBook Air which is 17 millimeters at its thickest point let's go ahead and open this up so as you can see it's got the webcam it's got a chiclet keyboard standard trackpad and Dolby home theater audio now actually Acer is very proud of that part the coolest thing about the laptop though is this hinge it has and this is what they're calling the magic flip so if I go ahead and I push this button right here as you'll see all the ports pop up we've got the HDMI USB two of them and a Thunderbolt port I want to actually once do this again actually a lot of fun the Acer Aspire s5 is coming in the second quarter prices range from $8.99 to $12.99
