it's Chris with the verge I'm standing in front of the accurate precision concept now concept is in the name and it is indeed a concept car but many of the design elements that you see on it are going to make it into real Acuras that are apparently coming very soon according to company officials this is a sedan it is a very angular sedan there are lots of different lines going on with it and frankly it looks nothing like actors that are on the road today that is a good thing Acura needs a refresh and this is it of course they have the NSX coming pretty soon it's launching in the spring but that is not a normal person's car they need a mass-market vehicle that looks fresh and this is the the design that they're gonna be stealing from now outside obviously it's very angular has a beautiful concept paint job inside is just as interesting there's a floating center stack with a touchscreen on top of it that used to control a giant curved screen that goes across the dashboard and that's accompanied by a relatively small instrument cluster directly above a small steering wheel the rear seats are floating basically they're cantilevered up off the ground very concept II I wouldn't expect that to mate and make it into a production car but still very interesting and I believe that we're gonna see some of the interior elements in production cars too probably mostly from the electronics a lot of the stuff that you see in the dashboard is going to be in real acura soon so that's it for now from the Detroit Auto Show I'm here at the Acura booth but there's a lot more going on at other booths so stay tuned to youtube we're at the verge or the verge calm
