hi this is Jacob from the verge and I am here with the porsche design blackberry p 99-81 this is a collaboration special collaboration between rim and porsche design it essentially is a blackberry 9900 bold on the inside but it has a much different enclosure that is the result of a collaboration between portion blackberry so the front of the device and the rim over here is actually one whole piece of stainless steel that has been forged and then there's this glass region for the 640 by 480 screen with glass buttons below it doesn't have the same optical trackpad that's present in most BlackBerry's but rather a specialized camera that's actually hidden under the glass that is used for tracking it has this keyboard below that's also made of metal and it's not as easy to type on as the traditional BlackBerry plastic keyboard but it definitely goes with the whole design theme that is going on over here it has a laser engraved Porsche design logo at the top and then the BlackBerry logo below a status light and that's kind of the front of the device along the top there's a lock switch and then on the right side a volume up volume down and a play/pause button in the middle and then on the other side there's a headphone jack and a micro USB charging port the back of the device is also really elegant and kind of counters balances with the metal and glass of the front it has a full leather back along with an engraved blackberry logo and then a five megapixel camera and LED flash and on the other side and again this is pretty much a blackberry 9900 but it definitely it's not going to carry the price point of the blackberry 9900 when it launches in in North America later and soon in a couple months and it's probably gonna retail for around $2,000 so that's just a quick look at the blackberry p99 81 by Porsche and blackberry you
