this is sam byford for the verge
reporting from computex 2013 we're ASA
has just unveiled the first 8 inch
Windows 8 tablet this is the Iconia w3
so it's an 8 inch screen 1280 x 800
resolution you can see it's not the
greatest quality the viewing angles a
pretty poor if you look at it from the
side or from below but it's quite sharp
given the small size of it it works with
this keyboard dock here which is quite a
bit bigger than the tablet itself and it
doesn't fold over like a laptop you
actually have to switch it over and
click it into this groove on the back so
overall the it's not quite as portable
as you might expect for an 8 inch device
but it runs full windows 8 it's not it's
not arty it's full windows 8 so you're
looking at a pretty much the smallest
full PC we've ever seen it's it's quite
a quite an impressive device in that
sense it does look like this will be the
first a tint windows 8 product in the
market acer is opening pre-orders from
tuesday and the list price is suggested
out 379 dollars
