hey this is Ben popper reporting from CES 2014 so what we're looking at here is the newest prosumer grade drone from DJI last year at South by Southwest we saw the s 800 this is the s 1,000 it's a little bit bigger as a few more arms capable of going higher faster and carrying a little bit more weight they aren't giving us all of the specs like pricing and availability yet they say it'll be hitting the market sometime early next year but basically you know it's just a step up in the very high-end drones that people use for surveillance and films TV commercials so these things aren't exactly legal yet for commercial use but the company says that sales are growing three to five times year over year and they are confident the FAA will continue to move forward so they're putting bigger better units on the market all the time
