well this is Sean house with the verge and we're taking a look at the three scales 12 axis in extrinsic sensing platform this tiny little module right here that you can see if I can focus on it properly there we go this module has a 3d accelerometer gyroscope magn ometer and inclinations of sensing it is working here with the microsoft windows 8 sensor fusion platform and you can see right here on screen that these sensors combine to give you not only this compass reading but a 3d view of exactly which way you're facing which way you're tilted and if you pull it up and down kind of other forces acting on this piece of hardware and put this in a Windows 8 tablet and be able to tell where it is and what it's doing at any given time in a nice simplified format that developers can build for thank you for watching
