hey guys it's David with the verge and
though we didn't get to see the new ps4
console we did get to spend a little
time with the controller and as you can
see it looks a lot like the PlayStation
controller that we've seen before the
DualShock but there are a bunch of
differences so all the buttons oddly are
sort of shallower even like the analog
sticks and they have kind of a different
feel to them there's the triggers in the
back or actually triggers but again this
is super familiar from the buttons to
the layout to everything from what we've
seen there's no select and start it's
now sharing options which is sort of
interesting and the biggest change here
is this track pad right in the middle we
didn't get to see a lot of games that
actually use it or if we did they didn't
talk about it but this is actually going
to be a super interesting thing to see
what they can do in games with this we
saw some tablet uses and it'd be pretty
cool if you could do it on here so
otherwise this is sort of the same
controller that if you've had a ps3
you'll be used to and that is the new
game track controller for the
PlayStation 4
