this is sean hollister with the verge
and i'm here with a gigabyte you 2142
convertible Windows 8 tablet it's got an
11.6 inch screen that you can spin
around flip down and bring up the entire
device to use in tablet mode or spinning
around again and have the keyboard out
for a laptop Scott core i5 and i7
processors on board it's got not only a
solid-state drive but also a large hard
drive inside so you've got both plenty
of storage and the solid state drive
responsiveness when you need and it's
not too heavy either it's around 1.4 9
kilograms swept through apps here a bit
touch screen isn't quite as responsive
as I'd like based on what I'm seeing
right here and the keyboard also doesn't
look particularly great I turn it around
here you can see that the the deck here
is a little bit flexi and not quite as
durable as you'd expect from most
ultrabooks but not a bad package all
told
Shane were probably never going to see
this one in the United States so here's
a Windows 8 tablet you've probably never
seen before this is the LG H 160 and
it's a sliding device with a pop-up
keyboard it's got a nice big hinging
back spring-loaded hinge that'll pop it
right up when you push the slightest bit
and then when you push it down again get
rid of that keyboard you've got a fairly
reasonably thin clover trail tablet
doesn't weigh too much either
