hi this is jump at the birch and we're
here at the kddi booth at CES we're
taking a look at a prototype foam from
kyocera that uses speaker lyst
smartphone technology now if you're not
sure what speaker lets smartphone is
this uses a an oscillator inside the
phone to produce vibrations and those
vibrations are conducted through your
ear canal and can either vibrate your
eardrum or the bones in your ear canal
and conduct the sound to your brain
without even needing a tinker the sound
so it's really cool technology
we can do
there's a there's a voice message
playing in the background right now
it's English but I can't really
understand what she's saying it's a
she's got a bit of an accent if I asset
so it's really cool because you can not
only use it if you're saying a loud bar
or if you're hearing impaired but you
can also use it for example if you are
at a construction site and you need to
be able to use your cell phone yeah the
sound conducts perfectly through and
through headphones as well so that's the
new speaker with smartphone technology
in the kyocera prototype cell phone kddi
booth at CES
