hey guys this is Quang with the verge and I'm at the Las Vegas Convention Center and CES checking out LG displays rolling screen now this isn't a working unit you can see a working version right here but this is a prototype of an 18-inch rollable display that you can roll up like a newspaper this isn't the first time we've seen the bendable display last year Samsung for instance came out with a crazy 85 inch bendable screen but this is as far as the vision has been taken this year as you can see you can roll it up and roll it back out this prototype is less than a millimeter thick but it promises 810 by 1200 resolution so we don't know for sure when anything like this is going to hit the market but we do know that LG Display is working on TVs that can be rolled up if you want to see more about this check out the verge and you want to see more videos like this check out youtube.com slash The Verge
