hi this is jacob from the verge and this is the MakerBot replicator it's a 3d printer design for them home market and it comes fully preassembled and starts for one thousand seven hundred and forty nine dollars it prints items in 3d using this extruder up top and it also comes in a second configuration with dual extruders that prints in two different colors at the same time on the front there's this LCD screen that allows you to see the status of your build as well as the time it's taking and then there's an SD card slot for loading up your designs and a d-pad for navigating through it these are some examples of the kind of items that can print and this is made of a biodegradable plastic and took around 17 hours to print while the bunny is made of the same type of BL a plastic as your Legos and took around 12 hours but you can get really interested really intricate with your designs and actually print items in multiple pieces and then piece them together so this is one item that they have here on display and it actually turns and just shows you how intricate you can get
