Microsoft is said to be planning a
massive company-wide restructuring that
could be announced within the week All
Things D reports that CEO Steve Ballmer
is leading the charge without the input
of all of the company's executives the
new Microsoft will be made up of four
divisions enterprise business hardware
applications and services in an
operating systems group the rumored
reorg could be announced as soon as July

Sony and Disney are testing streaming
video rentals in South Korea while the
movies are still playing on the big
screen Django Unchained wreck-it Ralph
and brave were made available for rental
online and through video on demand just
weeks after they hit theaters in the
country in 2011 Disney conducted a
similar test in Portugal but it hasn't
tried again until now viewers are
encouraged to let soda spill and dry on
their living room floor to really get
that movie theater feel and finally the
company that offers the magic of taking
pictures that will be seen and then
deleted forever is now bringing its apps
the hands of children snapchats new
offline mode is called snap kids it lets
users take pictures annotate them and
save them locally but removes the
friending and social features it seems
for those under 13 who can't currently
sign up for a snapchat account so
basically snapchat just launched the
exact opposite of snapchat save your
pictures and never share them with
anyone ever that's it for today's top
