hi this is Peter Bowen for the virgin we
are looking at the power track this is a
fuel cell charger it's actually pretty
cool so there's two parts to this the
first is a very standard part it's a
2000 milliamp battery the same sort of
external battery that you seen before
it's got a micro USB plug listen I've
got a standard USB female port on this
end you can use to charge your iPhone or
what other phone you've got is pretty
straightforward but this is the
interesting side so it has these pucks
which I've got some chemicals in them
and then this little plastic doing a key
and what you do is you put some little
just a little bit of water in there
about a tablespoon or so you seal that
up and then you take the puck and you
set it into that container there a
little bit of water will shoot into it
and that will activate the chemicals
inside and it will start providing power
and company says it provides about 5
watt hours of power which you can use to
either charge your phone directly or it
will also charge up this two thousand
milliamp battery at the same time or on
its own they say it'll charge this
battery up at about two and a half hours
that basically the fuel cell provides
the equivalent of about four double A
batteries should be available in the
u.s. in May or so they say that perhaps
REI might be a spot where you can go
find these that is the power trip full
fuel cell charger
